Lwanda Peacock is a colorful 5" Cichlid endemic to Lake Malawi. These fish are very active and carry a lot of personality, so a large tank will be needed to house a large colony. In nature they are found near the sandy and rocky areas, they are avid hunters of small critters found swimming in the water and burrowing in the sand. They can sometimes be seen sifting sand in the Aquariums when hungry. Create a lot of caves and separations with medium and large sized rocks when overstocking a Cichlid tank.
