SHOPPING
Bettas and Guppy are measured in body size, from nose to the start of the tail. Goldfish are measured in body size, from nose to the start of the tail.
Items that remain unsold will be periodically reduced in price. See a fish that costs more than you would like to spend? You can wait for the price to reduce, but someone could purchase it while you wait.
You may add as many fish as you like to your shopping cart.
Fish in your shopping cart are still listed for sale on the site, and can be purchased by other customers, despite the fish being in your cart. Fish are automatically removed from view only after your order is submitted and your payment is received.
Once all of your desired items are in your cart, proceed to checkout to submit payment and schedule shipping.
PAYMENT AND SHIPPING
We accept all major credit cards.
We ship Monday through Thursday. Order typically take up to 10 business days to ship. But depending in what you select, it may go as early as the next day.
We use the following shipping services:
USPS Priority: Transit time is 2-3 days to arrive.
UPS Next Day: Transit time is 1 day to arrive.
UPS 2 DAY: Transit time is 2 days to arrive.
GLS/UPS GROUND: Transit time is 1-3 days to arrive.
Shipping to Hawaii:
To ship fish into Hawaii, an import permit is required. The permit is issued by the Hawaii Department of Agriculture Plant Quarantine Office.
We do require the import permit to be completed and sent over to us either in the form of a scanned PDF file or just a very clear photo taken with your phone or digital camera. Send over all required paperwork once completed and/or approved to contact@coastgemusa.com.
We dont ship on the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Day After Thanksgiving
- Christmas
- New Year’s Eve
DOA FISH AND REFUNDS
There is always a slight chance that a fish from your order will not be shipped due to health concerns. We will remove the item and send a refund to complete the order.
We do not send replacement fish in place of a fish that cannot be shipped. We do not send replacements for fish that are DOA.
Coast Gem USA will issue a credit towards your next purchase for the purchase amount of product that is DOA. This credit is for the product only and does not cover shipping or packaging costs.
If a fish from your order is Dead On Arrival, you are covered by our Guarantee
In order to obtain a store credit:
Losses must be reported to Coast Gem USA within 2 hours of receiving the shipment. To be eligible to receive credit, you must email us at DOA@coastgemusa.com and include a photo of the dead product in an unopened bag. We will check the timestamp of the tracking number to confirm the time of delivery. No exceptions.
RETURNS
Due to bio-security concerns, we do not accept returns of live fish under any circumstances.
CANCELED ORDERS
Orders must be canceled within 12 hours of the original order to receive a full refund. After the 12 hour period has passed, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Any refunds may be charged a 30% restocking fee to offset non-refundable service charges and holding a fish that might otherwise have been sold to someone else. Full credit will be given to be used towards future purchases. Refunds may take up to one week to be issued.
