Wisteria is a popular stem plant that is extremely easy to care for and suitable for beginners. It can grow very tall but with frequent pruning the plant can stay compact and low growing.
Light intensity for Hygrophila Difformis does not seem to be an issue, as it can grow quite well from low to well lit aquariums. Higher light will boost the growth and create harder woody stalks.
Stems can be cut and replanted for propagation just like any other stem plant. The trimmed stem will regrow a whole new plant with roots from every Node.
